About
無所不在的時間是構成事物存在、生命長成的根本條件。人們對鐘錶刻痕的注視、天文學與地質學對遙遠時間的度量，皆試圖找尋它的真實樣貌。然而，時間總是以不可見的姿態存在，神秘、深邃地持續流動，並內在於不同生命之中。
The omnipresence of time is the fundamental condition for the existence of things and the growth of life. People's attention to the clocks, as well as the measurement of distant time in astronomy and geology, are all attempts to seek its direct presence. However, time always exists in an invisible manner, mysteriously and profoundly flowing, embedded within different forms of life.
Möbiusband
「時間環帶」集結攝影創作者劉碧玲多年以來在世界各地所拍攝的作品，從台灣島嶼、南極冰山，紀錄物種、岩層、人造物與環境共生的狀態。一張張照片突破了原先被數字、經緯所劃分的時區，形成如同莫比烏斯環—— 此一看似具有不同面向、卻彼此連結的循環迴圈。透過攝影與鉑金印相、複合裝置與書籍，將個人的凝視、影像與紙材浸潤於顯影的時間中，本展覽試圖呈現出人與世界的遭遇，如何經由攝影紀錄下生命與事物的不同面貌，體現時間本身的痕跡與力量。
"The Circle of Time" brings together the works of photographer Pi-Ling Liu, captured over many years across the globe, from the islands of Taiwan to Antarctic icebergs, documenting the coexistence of species, rock layers, man-made objects, and the environment. Each photograph transcends the time zones previously divided by numbers and coordinates, forming a circle like Möbius strip—a continuous loop that appears to have different sides yet is interconnected. Through photograph and platinum printing, installations, and books, the exhibition immerses personal gazes, images, and paper into the developing time. This exhibition seeks to present the encounters between humans and the world, exploring how photography documents different aspects of life and things, while manifesting the traces and power of time itself.
